Julienne Salon Hard Wax (Body) 300g

Julienne Salon Hard Wax easily removes short, stubborn hair on underarms, bikini and legs. The warmth of the wax opens the pores. The wax surrounds the hair allowing gentle and effective hair removal, which leaves the skin hair free for up to six weeks.

WHAT?

• Microwaveable, fast-melt, peel-off wax. No cloth strips required.
• Made from natural rosins and beeswax.
• Infused with chamomile extract and special additives to lower wax temperature and calm and comfort the skin.

HOW?

• Wax is applied as a liquid and sets on skin to form its own strip.
• Warmth of wax opens pores encouraging gentle hair removal.
• Strip is peeled off removing unwanted hair.

WHO?

• Some waxing experience recommended.
• For all hair types especially short, coarse and stubborn hair.
• Ideal for legs, underarm and bikini waxing.

Read and follow the detailed directions included in pack before using product to prevent injury and for optimal results. 

As easy as.....

1. Place tub on a microwave-safe plate, on top of glass turntable and heat wax according to pack directions.
2. Microwave on high for 90 seconds. OVERHEATING CAN CUSE SERIOUS BURNS. Leave to stand for a minute before removing tub.
3. Use spatula to mix wax in jar and then apply to skin in the same direction as hair growth.
4. Allow wax to cool (between 5-40 seconds) so that it is soft and pliable and no longer sticky to touch.
5. While still pliable, loosen wax with fingertips.
6. Hold adjoining skin taut with one hand and with other hand pull strip off in opposite direction of hair growth. Use one quick motion to pull strip back on itself parallel to skin rather than upward and away from skin.
7. Apply a soothing cream, lotion or gel to area. Do not try and remove with water.

The wax jar melted during microwave heating. Why?

• The microwave jars are industry standard and designed to withstand microwaves. Sometimes faulty microwave ovens that don’t have even microwave distribution can cause a “drilling” effect to occur. The wax may have been over heated (i.e. correct time was not adhered to).

My skin burnt during waxing. What did I do wrong?

• The wax was applied when too hot. ALWAYS ADHERE TO CORRECT HEATING TIMES. The wax temperature should be tested on the inside of your wrist before you begin waxing.

Can you use the Salon Hard Wax in an electronic heating unit?

• No – the wax is formulated for microwave heating only.

The wax became too brittle and I could not remove it. Why not?

• You may have applied it too thinly or have waited too long. Apply another layer of wax over the wax on your skin. The new layer of warm wax will heat up the bottom layer and make it easier to remove. Small amounts of wax can be removed using baby oil, olive oil or body lotion.

A fabulous product

This wax is my favorite hot wax and I have used it for years. Don't use it on my legs as I find the Julienne strips much quicker and easier for waxing legs but I do use it for my underarms and bikini area. It is true that you do have to have a bit of a knack for applying hot wax correctly but with this wax it is easy to pick up. As for its smell - I think it smells just like every other hot wax. This wax is great for sensitive areas such as underarms and is quick and easy at removing hair best of all, it’s pretty cheap at about $10. The Julienne Hard Wax is definitely my favorite hot wax.

Pretty Good!

Pros- 
It wasn’t really expensive, I picked it up at Priceline for $10 and there wasn’t a need for strips although there is a spatula provided on the box, there wasn’t one in my box although :( 
it worked well on my legs but reasonably on the face…..

….Overall, If you’re looking for a cheap alternative and cant be waiting for hair to grow back after waxing and have the time, I would recommend this product.

Julienne Hard Wax

I have been using this product for years and when I saw it on Beauty Heaven I just had to write it a review. This is a fantastic wax for the underarms and bikini area; it removes all hair and saves the hassle of shaving every day. The only small negative about this product is that the spatula could be a bit bigger and as with all microwavable waxes they can be a bit messy. However I would still never use any other microwaveable wax.
